Life in Port Clyde, Maine inspires Ken's art in ways obvious. Other times, his art turns inward, to the timeless concerns, themes and archetypes of all human experience. Each painting expresses its own desires, whims and world.

Ken is a self-taught visual artist who believes all art is abstraction, communication and an expression of spirit. He allows himself to explore any style, theme, or genre he wishes. Creative freedom is coveted as much as the old masters are respected.

Ken grew up in New England where art, museums, seasons and his deepest passions were ever intermingling and needing expression. Painting became his mission, his love and muse.
